The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in the field of advocacy within an international human rights and preferably criminal justice context. They will be able to represent Penal Reform International confidently and effectively within national and international contexts and maintain effective relationships and networks with key influencers and decision-makers. They will work collaboratively with the Executive Director, Head Office and regional staff across the organisation to implement projects encompassing research, policy and advocacy, as well as lead on the development of new global programmes. As line manager of the Communications Officer and interns they will oversee PRI’s external communications and must be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate and support staff.

Contract: Fixed-term ten-month maternity cover
Annual leave: 25 days per annum (pro rata), plus bank holidays and office closed between Christmas and New Year
