The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association is a membership-based organisation representing over 17,000 Commonwealth Parliamentarians. It is essential that CPA promotes its agenda across the globe and builds alliances with international organisation and entities to achieve sustainable and robust impact. Reporting to the Deputy Secretary-General, this newly created opportunity will have a key role to support the outreach and financial sustainability of the organisation. The post-holder will be required to be proactive and confident at building relationships with international organisations, non-governmental bodies, national and international donors and other partner bodies. Key activities include initiating and developing new partnerships and strengthen existing collaborative relationships with relevant and valued institutions and bodies across the Commonwealth as well as sourcing and successfully bidding for programme and project funding. In addition, the post holder will actively seek opportunities for in-kind funding support in the delivery of CPA Programmes Strategy.
