Lepra is an international charity with a mission to fight disease, poverty and prejudice. Last year we directly impacted the lives of over a quarter of a million individuals and delivered health education to a further one million people.
This post offers an exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver Lepra’s work in India and Bangladesh, bringing global health, monitoring, evaluation & learning and scientific expertise to the organisation, influencing policy and international thinking on leprosy and lymphatic filariasis, as well field operations, based upon data-driven best practices.
The role is currently home based and whilst long term the role is based at our Colchester offices, we will consider applicants who prefer to be home based who are able to travel to the office 1-2 times per month.
The role also ensures programme and project proposals are technically sound, oversees Lepra’s effective grant management, advises on public health operational principles and organises and disseminates research based learning.
The successful applicant will be required to analyse quantitative and qualitative data using a range of different approaches and software and to present this information so that it may be easily interpreted by different users and audiences.
A recognised postgraduate qualification, or equivalent experience, in epidemiology, statistics or public health, is a requirement for the position.
