You will be joining a growing team of Officers who each manages a dedicated funding portfolio attached to ClientEarth's programme teams.
The programme teams deliver high-impact work that uses the power of the law to protect people and planet. You will play a central role in communicating this impactful work to external stakeholders - in particular funders including private trusts and foundations and institutional donors. You will be responsible for managing your portfolio of grants and its key relationships (internal and external) with an emphasis on funder liaison and stewardship, reporting on existing grants, and translating technical legal and policy language into compelling and interesting narratives.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience of working in a grant management or project management role for a charity, NGO, private or public entity. They will have experience of reporting and drafting proposals for trusts and foundations, and an understanding of an organisation's financial and budgeting requirements. They will be able to work independently, have excellent organisational skills and be efficient in managing and prioritising multiple tasks and deadlines. They will have strong interpersonal and team-working skills, with the ability to foster positive working relationships with diverse internal and external individuals including and especially with funders.
