Sustainable development charity Raleigh International is looking for Videographers or film makers to volunteer on international Expeditions in Nepal in January 2018.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to use your creative skills in a unique and rewarding way. Sustainable development charity Raleigh International is looking for Videographers or film makers to volunteer on international Expeditions.

As a Videographer, your main responsibilities will be documenting the Expeditions in Borneo, Nicaragua & Costa Rica, Tanzania and Nepal; you’ll capture the stories of the volunteers, the important work they are doing and the communities they are working in. We want you to be able to showcase our sustainable development projects and the achievements of our volunteers as they live and work in local communities. We will use your footage for short and long videos, social media content and for general awareness raising and brand films.

Raleigh’s programmes focus on providing safe access to water and sanitation facilities to rural communities, protecting vulnerable environments and building more resilient communities, all whilst developing the skills and confidence of young people.

What will I be doing?

  • Bring to life a Raleigh Expedition – visit the project sites and gather footage of the volunteers, communities and environments we work in to show Raleigh’s impact
  • Work closely with the Expedition Photographer to shoot footage and gather stills of community, volunteer and project partner stories
  • Liaise with the communications team in the London head office to ensure footage is good quality, on brand and representing Raleigh in the right way
  • Post production and all editing of footage
  • Meeting briefs set by Raleigh head or country offices to produce short films about our work to meet specific requirements
  • Supply all of your footage to Raleigh International

Your video content will be used on the Raleigh website, blogs and in communications and marketing to help promote the positive change Raleigh and volunteers are creating in developing countries.
