Volunteer overseas this summer as a Project Manager on our international development projects in Nepal, Tanzania, Nicaragua and Malaysian Borneo

Do something different and lead teams of young volunteers on development projects in Malaysian Borneo, Costa Rica & Nicaragua and Tanzania. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivating Project Managers to join our Expeditions for 8 or 13 weeks this summer.

Our programmes focus on providing safe access to water, protecting vulnerable environments and building more resilient communities, all whilst developing the skills and confidence of young people. In order to safely and effectively run our expeditions we rely on volunteer managers.

Countries and project dates:

  • Tanzania – 15 June – 09 September
  • Nicaragua & Costa Rica – 21 June – 15 September
  • Nepal – 17 June – 12 September
  • Malaysian Borneo - 18 June – 14 September


As a Project Manager you will;

  • Support a group of around 12-14 young volunteers on community, environment and adventure projects
  • Facilitate the personal development of the young volunteers
  • Encourage and motivate the young volunteers to effectively deliver the aims of the project
  • Inspire the volunteers to complete an impactful project

We ask all our volunteers to fund raise before the expedition. For more information on our volunteer manager fundraising targets please visit our website.​ This is an unpaid voluntary position however when you are in country we will cover;

  • All living expenses included during the expedition - food, accommodation, equipment
  • Full training and support before and during the expedition
  • Travel and medical insurance included
  • In country transport


  • Learn and develop new skills such as leadership and project management while gaining experience in an expedition environment
  • Learn and develop knowledge of international sustainable development
  • Learn new skills to develop or change your career and gain and develop experience working with young people in a challenging environment
