About the Role
This new senior level role has been created to support the International team, in close collaboration with the Executive Director, in achieving Leonard Cheshire ambitious and exciting growth strategy. It is a fast-paced and dynamic role leading on long term planning, working collaboratively across the organisation, to ensure the right resources and structures are in place to drive high performance.
This is an exciting and fast-paced leadership position that spans many areas: from strategic implementation to risk management and compliance, no day will be the same and its remit allows for real impact on the shaping of the international team’s agenda as well as motivating and supporting the team towards the aim of becoming a global partner of choice.
With a proven successful track record of delivering large-scale international programmes, you will be able to show strong business acumen, analytic skills, experience in planning and compliance, effective time management and problem solving skills, all whilst working in a demanding international environment.
You will possess outstanding communication, influencing and interpersonal skills. You will be able to create positive and long-lasting internal and external relationships. You will contribute to the wider strategy and corporate objectives of Leonard Cheshire and be able to think creatively, have a keen eye for innovation and respond positively to new opportunities.
Lived experience of disability will be an advantage and leadership within disability activism would be highly desirable.
