Opportunity International seeks to expand its programme and reach 20 million people by 2020.  To do this we need to raise significantly more income.  We have a vacancy within our fundraising team and need your passion and expertise to help us achieve this! 

We are looking for a target-driven self-starter to join our fundraising team.  The Development Manager will lead on writing grant proposals and reports to leading global trusts, foundations and corporates.  Managing these relationships with professionalism, expertise and confidence, the Development Manager will increase donations to support our programmes in some of the poorest countries in the world.

Your role will be to write grant proposals and reports to existing and new donors and, in particular, global trusts, foundations and corporates. You will also provide background research on both potential and existing donors to approach new trusts, foundations and corporates.  Essential Criteria:  * Strong track record in leading the writing of winning proposals for trusts, foundations, corporates and institutional donors * Experience of corporate partnership development  * Experience of working across the corporate and private sector  * Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English.  * Proven understanding of the motivation of donors. 

Location: Oxford, with some working in London to attend meetings and events.
