You will support the development and delivery of training and other forms of support to build WaterAid’s organisational capacity in contract management. This will include the development and maintenance of training content and logistical support to training programmes. You will facilitate programme staff’s access to other internal or external training on business process, systems and good practice in contract management. You’ll provide help desk services on managing donor compliance and donor relationship management issues, and develop tools and templates to support compliance management by country teams. Your will provide access to essential information and material to ensure effective contract negotiation for strategic, complex or high value opportunities in country programmes and maintain standard negotiating positions for donor contract terms and conditions.  

To be successful, you’ll need to: 

  • Have proven experience in institutional donor contract management, or similar, for other INGOs, private sector or academic organisations in the development sector
  • Have proven experience in various forms of training, including virtual, and distance learning
  • Be a quick learner with a “can do” attitude and abiltiy to apply knowledge to new situations.
