The Health team are positioned within the Human Development Practice and oversee a dynamic and rapidly evolving portfolio. This is broadly in four thematic areas: a) adolescent, sexual and reproductive health and rights, b) health systems strengthening, c) global health architecture and last but not least, d) global health security. We are involved in the latest exciting health areas, such as tackling anti-microbial resistance, pursuing youth-led design for health and many others. We apply and develop methodologies that challenge organisations and people to learn from insights and put these into practice.
We are recruiting for an experienced consultant to join the Practice to input and support projects across the whole portfolio. They will contribute to project delivery, develop and own stakeholder relationships, contribute to business development activities and build our reputational capital and market presence. The core technical strengths of all our consultants are focused around four key areas:
You will ideally have a post-graduate degree in a relevant discipline and have a proven track record within the international development or research sector. As an evidence advocate you will have led the design and implementation of complex M&E projects and workstreams, actively seeking new data tools and techniques to apply in a structured and systematic way to produce evidence based findings. As a change agent you will have a proven track record in conveying ideas and thinking in a clear, focused style, flexing your your technique to suit the environment. As a project manager will demonstrate your ability to actively manage clients whilst building trust, ensuring a quality focus throughout supported by clear commercial project management skills. As a trusted advisor you will lead proposals, leverage your own network to research and define issues and generate solutions.
The salary for this role is up to £36K depending on your skills and experience.
