In conjunction with Action Against Hunger and Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) HQ and Myanmar based staff, Action Against Hunger UK is recruiting a consultant to take the lead in developing a compelling, evidence-based project for a concept note in accordance with Request for Proposal guidelines for submission to the DFID-funded HARP facility in mid-June; and - if the concept note is selected, contribute to development of a full proposal.
The consultant will bring previous experience from developing and writing successful integrated, multi-sectoral, proposals involving several stakeholders for institutional donors. It is desirable that the consultant also brings a good understanding of issues relating to nutrition, food security, education/vocational skills and livelihoods and/or protection sectors and of DFID funding.
The consultant will help develop the joint project/proposal for responding to humanitarian needs as well as building community-level resilience. This will require scoping, reviewing, analysing, and integrating existing plans, projects, and areas of expertise among Action Against Hunger and NRC staff, as well as additional technical/research partners (to be determined).
