To drive the effectiveness of partnerships throughout the sector through shared learning and the application of innovative models.
The group was set up through the PPA Learning Partnership in 2014, when it was recognised as an important area for sharing learning across the PPA agencies. Working in partnership is a standard way of working for most organisations and the group is interested in learning from the different approaches to partnership and delivering results and achieving change. The group aims to develop learning and evidence, encourage changes in organisational thinking, policy and practice, to strengthen partnership approaches and promote institutional effectiveness.
Topics are covered on a quarterly basis and most learning events are online seminars with speaker, some from the agencies in the group and also external speakers, presenting their work, experience and lessons learnt on the focus topic. Past topics have included Partnership types, models and principles, Understanding our Impact as Partners, Partnership and Accountability and Partnership and Exit Strategies.
