Develop and share good practice in knowledge management
The Knowledge management and learning group's goal is to facilitate the co-creation, development and sharing of thinking and good practice in knowledge management in the international development and humanitarian aid sector. Effective information and knowledge management will contribute to and influence international development practice through a shared, coherent and transparent inter-agency approach.
The group aims to:
- Establish and manage an open platform to promote purposeful and productive inter-agency sharing and collaboration on knowledge management and learning within the international development and humanitarian sector.
- Facilitate on-going inter-agency information sharing, dialogue and promotion of sharing and engagement on knowledge management and learning strategies, techniques and good practice in the international development and humanitarian sector.
- Build the capacity of international development and humanitarian staff to apply knowledge management and learning practices techniques in their work.
- Inspire individual organisations’ leaders to own and operationalise knowledge and learning initiatives within their own organisations.
