The University of Bath is a leading UK centre for research and postgraduate study in Development Studies, and is ranked in the top 50 in the world for Development Studies in the QS rankings. Our research spans a range of themes including wellbeing, conflict, sustainable development, migration and global political economy.
In September 2018, we are launching two new and innovative part-time masters programmes in Humanitarianism, Conflict and Development, and in Public Policy. The programmes are challenging and rigorous as well as practice-oriented, meeting the needs of professionals working in policy and practice roles. They combine the benefits of short residential periods in Bath with interactive online learning, while working full-time. These programmes complement the re-launch of our campus-based MSc International Development, with new specialist pathways in economics; social justice and sustainability; and conflict and humanitarian action.
