Party conference season fringe events

A run down of the events being run by Bond members and allies during the Conservative, Labour and Lib Dems conferences

 

Political parties are holding their conferences throughout September and there are lots of events being run by Bond members and allies.

Bond co-hosted events

Bond’s CEO Stephanie Draper will be speaking at a drinks reception on Saturday 14 September at the Lib Dem Conference and will be hosting events at both the Labour and Conservative conferences: 

Labour: Sunday 22 September at 19:30 – Ending poverty and inequality - are we doomed to fail? 
In partnership with Labour Campaign for International Development (LCID); Hilton Brighton Metropole, Durham Hall Room 4 

Speakers include shadow secretary of state for international development Dan Carden MP, Preet Gill MP, LCID's Mann Virdee, and Stephanie Draper of Bond. 

Conservative: Sunday 29 September at 18:00 – Can conservatism end global poverty and climate change? 
In partnership with the Conservative Friends of International Development (CFID); Manchester Central, Exchange 6 & 7 Combined 

Speakers include the secretary of state for international development Alok Sharma MP, previous secretary of state Andrew Mitchell, chair of CFID Jeremy Lefroy MP, co-directors of CFID Amy Le Coz and Dina Black, and Bond's chief executive Stephanie Draper. 

Liberal Democrat party conference, 14-17 September 

Saturday 14 September:

Liberal Democrats in International Development (LDID) fringe afternoon including
