Youth Working Group
The group is suitable for those people who are in organisations or departments working on development projects for and with young people overseas. Each organisation should provide a main contact for the group and members should attend regularly.

David Woollcombe of Peace Child International organised an informal meeting on 19 July 2006 in the British Library cafe to talk about the World Bank report.
Tamira Lynskey, of ICR, has stepped down an Chair of the Group. We would like to thank Tamira for all the hard work she has put in towards making the Group such a success during her time as Chair.
The Group met on 14 September 2004. The meeting focused on a review of current advocacy work, and next stages for the Group, and discussion also covered shared issues such as child protection and new youth programme development. Minutes will be available soon.
The Group also met on 8 July 2004. The discussion covered the HIV/AIDS consultation with DFID, DFID's Action Plan on Children and Young people's Participation, best practice in youth in development document, possible input to the Africa commission, and research to support the Group's advocacy work.
