Sector

BOND monitors public policy, sectoral best practice and public debate to spot changes and issues that will affect the NGO sector. We raise awareness of new developments amongst our members, and advocate on the sector's behalf towards a range of actors, including the government, regulatory bodies and the media. Our concern is to support the sector's independence and to make the case for NGO agendas, to facilitate mutual understanding between NGOs and regulators and to maintain links with other constituencies active in international development.

Terrorism

BOND's policy and advocacy work on charities and the war on terror

Freedom to Campaign

A report by the Advisory Group on Campaigning and the Charity Sector argues that several areas of law and regulation should be relaxed to allow NGOs and other voluntary sector organisations campaign more freely.

Public benefit

BOND's submission to the Charity Commission consultation on public benefit.

Charities Act

The new Charities Act overhauls Britain's 400-year-old charity laws. It will impact on a number of areas of NGOs' activities.

Quality Standards

Research and consultation to determine the direction and approach to take on issues of quality for the BOND network.
