The Bond submission to the White Paper consultation
Bond has submitted a comprehensive Bond submission to the White Paper including strong recommendations to DFID combining network policies and positions by Bond members. The Bond submission reflects on the four different themes but also looks beyond the consultation questions discussing overarching themes, the role of civil society and public support for development. The submission is based on input and contributions by Bond members, Bond groups, adhoc drafting groups on specific issues and partner networks' positions.
An initial Bond White Paper Consultation Meeting took place in 13 March 2009 to collect views of members on the White Paper. For more information read the notes of that meeting. During the consultation process, Bond also organised other consultation meetings with DFID on international institutional reform and economic growth. Read more about the Bond consultation process.
