UK Donors
Many UK NGOs working in international development receive institutional funding from the UK government's Department for International Development (DFID).
Additionally, the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) also funds NGOs working on issues around conflict and post-conflict reconstruction, as well as other areas of strategic interest to them.
Comic Relief and the Big Lottery Fund have traditionally supported a range of international development organisations and projects, as has the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund.
Several trusts and foundations have a history of supporting international work.
