Research Into Use aims to improve access to knowledge and technology for poor people whose livelihoods depend on natural resources.
The STARS Foundation works to improve the lives of disadvantaged children around the world. It does so by supporting organisations which achieve excellence in the provision of health, education and protection services for children and by encouraging the replication of effective approaches and practices.
Terra Viva Grants develops and manages information about grants for agriculture, energy, environment and natural resources in the world's developing countries.
TRAID (Textile and Recycling for Aid and International Development) uses funds raised through the collection and resale of the UK public's unwanted clothes and shoes to fund projects that:
- Combat the negative impacts of the textile industry on people and the environment
- Improve rights, health and incomes - especially of those working in the chain of textile supply and production, including children and home workers
- Enable people to transform and improve their environment sustainably to bring about improvements to their lives and livlihoods
