Bond groups and policy
Bond supports the coordination of joint policy advocacy in the UK. Bond members have varied issues and varied targets in the UK government. Bond tries to coordinate those different positions, ensuring coherence of messages in the sector.
Bond Policy and Lobbying Group
The Bond Policy and Lobbying Group is a cross-sector forum for sharing information, planning and coordinated lobbying in the areas of international development and global governance.
Membership is open to any Bond member organisation that is interested in engaging in collective advocacy and policy lobbying.
The Bond Policy and Lobbying has previously been actively engageged in the DFID White Paper Consultation process. Currently, the group is discussing a political strategy for the UK General Election and gathering ideas about engagement with political parties in the run up to the election.
