Learning and training services to help build your capacity

How it works

 1. We take bookings and match people to an appropriate group

 2. When the group has enough bookings (5-7 people), we close the bookings and launch the group

 3. The group them meets six times, for around three hours each time

 4. The dates, times and venues of the meetings are arranged by the group at their convenience

What happens in the meetings?

1.      In each meeting, two or three members of the group present an issue or a challenge they are facing in their work

2.      The rest of the group then explore this issue in a supportive way by asking questions for clarification, giving affirming feedback, and asking challenging questions.

3.      The group then helps the person to move into thinking about action they can take to resolve the issue

4.      Between meetings, the person tries out the suggested actions to overcome the issue or challenge

Each meeting is facilitated by a highly experienced facilitator, Vicky Cosstick who developed the peer learning approach for Bond. It is based on the action learning technique.

What our participants say...

"The peer learning sets provide a comfortable and safe environment in which work problems can be discussed so that the kernels of those problems are identified."

"As my team is very small, this group has given me a broader peer group from whom I can learn and gain support. The examples from other organisations have sometimes really provoked me to look at my own work in a new light. It has also been a safe space in which to address some complicated and challenging issues in my own work
