Advocating for UK NGOs and building the effectiveness of the development sector

Greta Jensen

Greta Jensen

I am a freelance consultant with 25 years of experience providing training, facilitation, coaching, mentoring and technical support to the international development sector and to voluntary organisations working in the UK and mainland Europe. I design and deliver workshops and undertake grant proposal and report writing, and evaluation.

Main areas of expertise

Project planning based on a logical framework approach, project cycle management, capacity building, facilitating partnerships, community development, social inclusion, design for disability, environmental education, environmental regeneration and a range of appropriate technologies.

Guiding principles

In all my work I aim to achieve inclusion, collaboration and mutual respect between diverse stakeholder groups and in cross-cultural contexts. I bring an experiential dimension to project development that emphasises individual empowerment in a group context, together with participatory and equitable decision-making, responsibility and accountability.
