General Information
The European Commission's EuropeAid website provides a search facility for current and forthcoming calls for proposals.
CONCORD publishes its EU Monitoring newsletter on a weekly basis, detailing news of the latest EC Calls for Proposals.
The German Foundation for World Population (DSW) publishes Tips and Tricks on how to access EC Development Co-operation Funds, as well as other editions of Tips and Tricks focused on accessing EC funds for Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
For individual support for organisations accessing and managing EC grants, Bond runs an EC Funding Advice Line.
Financial Regulation and Contract Issues
The Financial Regulation sub-group of CONCORD's Funding for Development and Relief group (FDR) has produced a range of documents to support NGOs managing EC grants:
- The 2007 Reader gives extra information on articles of the EC's 2007 Standard Contract
- Clarification on the issue of VAT costs
- Clarification on the issue of lead organisation's local staff and local office costs
Additionally, CONCORD has engaged in dialogue with the EC on observations relating to PADOR.
The 2008 Practical Guide is the latest EC document on contractual procedures.
