Useful resources

Primarily aimed at practitioners and academics, SOURCE is a free website designed to strengthen the management, use and impact of information on disability and inclusion in development and humanitarian contexts.

The collection of resources includes books, journals, manuals, reports, posters, CD-ROMs, websites and organisations and is organised into six topic areas based around disability and inclusion: Cross-cutting issues, Health and functional rehabilitation, Education, Livelihoods, Social inclusion and Humanitarian. Many materials are from developing countries and include both published and unpublished literature not readily available elsewhere.

Additionally, over 15 key lists have recently been added to the collection.  Key lists are pre-prepared bibliographies comprising up to 30 of the best and latest resources relating to disability and inclusion, developed in close partnership with expert individuals and organisations.  A new Ageing and Disability key list has been developed in partnership with HelpAge International, and a new Assistive devices key list has been developed in partnership with Motivation.
