Diana Fund
The Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund was set up in memory of Princess Diana, giving to causes she was particularly interested in. Around one third of the fund's grants, approximately £3 million, go to international work. The trustees of the Fund set criteria which remain constant for three years in order to have more impact and provide better opportunities for learning. The Fund does not tend to deviate from the set criteria for the given three year period.
From 2007 to 2012, the Fund's grant-making activities will be grouped under three initiatives, each of which has a desired outcome and a set of strategic objectives to be achieved over five years. The three initiatives are:
