Day surgeries
NEW! Logframe day surgery
Putting the learning into practice
raises new questions and inspires new ideas.
We are inviting people who have attended our
course on Project planning using a
logical framework approach to bring the logframes you have been working on to a day
surgery where you can offer your logical
frameworks up to scrutiny by your peers, with our trainer suggesting critical
questions to stimulate the logical thinking process.
This is a great opportunity to get some one-to-one feedback and peer support and advice on your own logframes as you develop and implement them. The day is aimed at people who have attended our two-day introductory course, and will help you to put all the training into practice.
You will be able to share the difficulties and discoveries you have come across in
- Developing the narrative summary
- Identifying assumptions and risks
- Setting SMART and SPICED indicators
- Participatory project planning with stakeholders
- Using the logframe in budgeting and proposal writing
- Monitoring, evaluation and reporting against the logframe indicators
Revisiting these issues from a critical perspective will help you learn how to make your logframe work best for you, make sense of someone else's logframe, and identify key questions to ask your project partner when developing your own. You will have the opportunity to get some direct, one-to-one advice and support both from other participants and from our experienced trainer Greta Jensen.
