Campaigning together for change

Campaigning in the UK

2 June 2007 - World Can't WaitThe actions of the UK Government can make a huge difference to the lives and livelihoods of the world's poor, for better and for worse. This means that advocacy in the UK on trade, foreign and environmental policy as well as aid quality and quantity, is vitally important.

Bond provides the space for anti-poverty campaigners to network, share information and organise effective advocacy - whether lobbying or public campaigning.

The Bond Advocacy and Representation team offers support by facilitating groups, forming collective policy demands, and helping to implement campaigns.

UK collective campaigning is overseen by the Campaigning Coordination team and the Global Economic Justice Networks, supported by Bond.

If you are a campaigner with an anti-poverty organisation in the UK, subscribe to the monthly e-newsletter Global Call for all the latest collective campaigning news and events.

Bond has produced an advocacy opportunities timeline for 2010, which is available for all to use.
