Campaigning globally
Tackling global poverty requires rich countries to change policies that damage developing countries.
Bond members are increasingly active at the international level, focusing on major opportunities such as United Nations processes or international trade negotiations, and promoting international policy changes to effectively fight poverty worldwide.
Bond's role
In association with overseas partners such as the Global Call to Action Against Poverty, Bond supports advocacy activities around international meetings.
Bond is engaged in political processes such as the G8 and G20 summits, special meetings of the UN and other forums such as the Fourth High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness in Busan (November 2011) and the Conference of Parties of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
If you would like to get involved with policy advocacy or public campaigning around future international meetings and summits please email the Advocacy team.
