Our brand
In 2009, we reviewed the Bond brand and identity and several changes were made. Most importantly, our name is now Bond, rather than British Overseas NGOs for Development (BOND) and we have a new logo.
We no longer use 'BOND' as many of the members and stakeholders we asked felt it sounded old-fashioned, colonial, and bureaucratic, and most did not know what it stood for. Instead, we want to build on the strength and unity that 'Bond' signifies - as a membership and network, we are stronger together.
