Board and governance
Board composition
The Bond network is governed by representatives from the membership. At the annual general meeting members elect 15 individuals from member organisations to its Board. The Board has:
- 6 trustees from small members (categories A and B)
- 5 from medium members (categories C and D)
- 4 from large members (categories E, F and G)
Trustees serve a 3-year term, and can be re-elected for a maximum of 2 terms. The Board sets the strategy for Bond and the implementation is delegated to the staff team.

'To be effective you need to have real influence within your organisation. This really helps Bond in two critical ways. Firstly, it means that the Board is made up of people who can think strategically and secondly, board members can act as an important two way communications channel at the highest levels between Bond and the member agencies they represent.'
Board minutes
As a membership organisation Bond is accountable to its members. We believe that decisions about the network should be transparent and open. You can read the past two years' Board minutes below.
