Peer Learning Groups

In a nutshell....

Our peer learning programme enables people working in the same field to share their experiences, learn from each other and develop practical, effective solutions to the challenges they face at work.

It does this by bringing together a small group of peers for a series of 6 short, focused meetings.

Each meeting is facilitated by Vicky Cosstick, an experienced learning practitioner in the development sector.

Vicky leads the group through a structured process in which participants discuss their context and challenges and develop solutions to these.

The programme uses a unique, tailored action learning technique developed by Vicky Cosstick

What our participants say...

"The peer learning group has helped me analyse chronic problems and worries about my work in an open and constructive atmosphere. [It has] brought fresh insights to old problems, such as relationships with partner organisations, which I have now been able to apply in practice."

"I have found [the peer learning group] extremely useful because we have dealt with the day to day stuff; it has given us the chance to talk openly and frankly and share experiences, problems and lessons learned with people who know what we do and how we do things in the sector.
