A new, refreshed Bond - introducing the new Bond brand
9 November 2009
We are delighted to share with you details of the new and refreshed look and feel to Bond. We are confident that the changes made as a result of the review will enable Bond to meet current and future demands and help take us to the next stage of our development.
The most obvious change is that we have a new logo and that we are now referred to as Bond, rather than BOND (British Overseas NGOs for Development). We no longer use the acronym 'BOND' following the brand review consultation which showed that many felt it sounded old-fashioned, colonial, and bureaucratic, and most did not know the meaning of the acronym. The resounding feeling was that it no longer reflected what Bond is or stands for. Instead, we want to build on the strength and unity that ‘bond' signifies which lies at the heart of our message - as a membership and network, we are stronger together. Please make the appropriate changes to your website and other communications to reflect this.
More details about the new brand are in the About Us section.
