Value for money paper
20 January 2012
Value for money: what it means for UK NGOs is a practical guide to the value for money concept which focuses on the practices of UK NGOs. It will help NGOs explore value for money in their own work and activities, identify ways to improve their practices and help them to make a strong and defensible case to funders.
Value for money - weighing up the costs and benefits of different activities and choosing those that achieve the best results - is high on the political agenda and is a priority for the UK government and DFID.
We have also produced a practical tool for integrating value for money into the programme cycle and collated a collection of useful value for money resources produced by NGOs, donors, and consultancies.
