Aid and conflict: invitation to sign statement

The UK government is being urged to "be accountable to the poor and marginalised rather than to abusive governments" by organisations including the Bond Conflict Policy Group.

The group highlights the need to make aid more effective in contexts of poor governance, conflict and fragility. The draft joint statement has been released ahead of the fourth High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness later in the year.
