Human Relief Foundation

Human Relief Foundation is a charitable humanitarian organisation, registered under the charity commission in the United Kingdom (charity number 1043676). Human Relief Foundation's humanitarian aid comprises of assistance and relief to help alleviate the suffering of the needy people throughout the world. Those who are particularly the most vulnerable are considered as priority cases as well as the victims of both natural disasters (ie earthquakes, floods, droughts and famine) and man made crisis (ie wars).

At the Human Relief Foundation we do not discriminate on grounds of race, ethnic group, gender, nationality or political affiliation.

The HRF now has over ten years of experience of relief distribution, management and development in all parts of Iraq. Its relief work has now expanded into Palestine, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Kashmir, Yemen, Ethiopia, Somalia, Bosnia, Kosova, Turkey, Chechnya, Eritrea, etc.

Mission Statement:

• to save and preserve life during emergencies and the immediate aftermath of natural and man made disasters which entail major loss of life, material damage, physical, physiological or social suffering

• to carry out short, medium and long term rehabilitation and reconstruction work in close association with local partners, preventing the impact of the crisis from worsening and helping those affected regain a minimum level of self-sufficiency.
