Learning and training services to help build your capacity

Learning and Training: themes

Why choose Bond training?

Over the last 15 years, Bond has built a strong reputation for being a leading provider of effective, expert and quality international development training. Our courses get right to the heart of the issue. They are practical, highly participatory and focus specifically on skills development and deepening understanding.

Bond offers two learning experiences:

  • a training programme where courses are run regularly and are open to all
  • an in-house service where we develop a course with you to match the exact training needs of your group or organisation. We also provide consultancy support to further build capacity in your organisation.

Engaging, thought-provoking and very informative.

Open training programme

As international development experts, we make sure our training is directly relevant to your work and regularly updated to reflect the latest thinking.

Our courses use active learning to build your skills and knowledge so that you can confidently put what you have learnt into practice immediately. They also provide a valuable opportunity to connect and
share ideas with people working on similar issues.

Our trainers are international development specialists who are highly skilled in participative training and group facilitation. Numbers are limited to maximise participation.

When and where

Courses are either one or two days and are held two or three times throughout the year. See the website for upcoming dates. All training is held in a fully accessible venue in central London with good transport links.

In-house training

Our in-house service brings Bond training to you.

If you have a group of people that need training on the same subject, or are having difficulty finding training that’s relevant to your organisation, then an in-house training course that’s designed especially for you may be the answer. It’s cost-effective and can transform learning within your organisation.

You can modify an existing Bond course using your processes, your case studies and your vocabulary or work with us to design a new course just for you.

As part of the service, we can put together a high quality, specialist consultancy package to build capacity in your organisation. Consultancy support might include workshop facilitation, report writing, coaching and mentoring. Simply tell us what you need and we will work closely with you to create an appropriate and effective response.

Whatever your needs and whatever the size of your organisation, we can work with you and our team
of expert trainers and consultants to find a solution.

We deliver in-house training across the UK and worldwide to organisations of all sizes, at a time that suits you.
