Jobs
Corporate Fundraising Manager Ref: 1932/EC

At Christian Aid, we believe that everyone deserves the right to a full life, one that is completely free of poverty and injustice. Corporate fundraising plays a vital role in our aims, and as you manage your team handling those corporate donors who give so generously, you’ll boost our income through fundraising streams.
About the role
This is a tremendous opportunity to lead and motivate a talented and enthusiastic team – one that is dedicated to making poverty a thing of the past. The role has 3 key responsibilities: securing new multi-year funding from corporate donors; high quality account management with existing clients; and collaborative working with internal stakeholders ensuring fundraising remains a top priority. In short, your job is to develop a strategy that inspires companies to give (and keep giving) us as much as possible. That way, we can continue our life changing work. Your clients will span from Transitional companies looking to increase their social corporate responsibilities to CEOs to new companies who wish to develop affinity schemes. You’ll also oversee work on legal contracts, direct marketing activities, and implement new ways of working for the future.
About you
Already a proven and successful Fundraising Manager with a wide professional network in both the charity and commercial sectors, you’re authoritative, confident and professional and able to put your research and project management skills to the best possible use. A natural communicator, you’re fully able to engage and negotiate with a diverse client base using a range of influencing and management techniques.
About Christian Aid
More than half the world lives in poverty. We aim to put a stop to that. So we campaign against the structures and rules that keep people poor. And we work with local organisations to give people strength to find their own solutions to the problems they face, irrespective of their religion. If you’re as determined as we are to end poverty and injustice across the world, work with us to make changes happen.
About the rewards
We value the input of everyone who works for us. That’s why you can expect a wide range of rewards including a generous holiday allowance, a season ticket loan and the flexibility that helps you enjoy a good work/life balance.
