Director of Fundraising

Panos London is part of a global not-for-profit network that promotes the participation of poor and marginalised people in international development debates through media and communication projects. As a growing charity we are seeking a creative and dynamic Director of Fundraising to drive forward our strategic income and new business development.

As a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) you will provide the strategic development and long-range planning of Panos London’s work in relation to the external funding environment. You will provide strategic leadership for the growth of all aspects of Panos London’s resource generation activities, leading the fundraising team and managing the development of Panos London’s new consultancy work.

The successful candidate will have:


  • A proven track record in resource development including substantial experience in developing, managing and evaluating funding strategies in an international development environment;
  • Proven networking skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with private and corporate donors;
  • Extensive experience in strategic planning and budgeting for organisations;
  • Experience in managing a team of fundraisers in a charity with the ability to empower and motivate to produce excellent results.
